What our employees say about us
I studied Mechanical Engineering in Italy and moved to beautiful Dresden shortly after my graduation. I didn't want to miss the chance to learn a third language and continue my professional career in Germany. So, I joined Sunfire in 2017 – and stayed. My tasks as a technical engineer are diverse and challenging. Every day, we work on developing our technology to the next level. I’m especially motivated by the common vision of a more sustainable world that I get to share with my great colleagues.
As a working student in the Production Stack area, I’m gaining practical experience at Sunfire in addition to my theoretical studies. I was quickly integrated into the team and get to experience the everyday production routine at first hand. I particularly appreciate the relaxed "you" culture at Sunfire and the fact that I’m allowed to work independently. It's also great that I can work flexible hours and that my university schedule is always taken into consideration. At Sunfire, I not only make contacts for my future career – I also have the opportunity to write my thesis here.
It's great to see how we are developing our technology day by day with our innovative team and its diverse competencies. Our electrolyzers are the missing puzzle piece in the global energy transition and help protecting our planet.
Green hydrogen is key to the energy transition, bringing renewable energy into all aspects of our lives. At Sunfire, I’m committed to ensuring that this vision is widely understood by society and policymakers. As Senior Manager Public Affairs, I’m raising awareness about the great potential of green hydrogen. Our electrolyzers stand for the combination of innovation, technological development and climate protection – something that I can 100 % identify with.
A world without fossil fuels: a vision that excited me from the very beginning. I wanted to play an active role in shaping the world of tomorrow, so I joined Sunfire in 2017 as Manager of Marketing & Communications. After three years, I joined the Business Development team for our fuel cells business. In both positions I gained experience with managing and implementing funding projects. In 2022, I took over the coordination of all funding topics at Sunfire as Head of Grants & Subsidies. Together with my team, I act as an interface between many different players – it never get’s boring...
I’ve been with Sunfire from the very beginning. More than 10 years ago, we already shared the vision of establishing electrolysis as a future technology. Even back then I was able to contribute my extensive experience. It has never been boring in all these years – with such a great team, I still learn something new every day. Many young colleagues always bring new energy and ideas into the daily work routine, which is a lot of fun.
